Olivia and Giovanni met in high school and always knew they would end up getting married. The lovebirds chose to elope to Colorado because neither of them had been here before and, as Olivia said, "the pictures always look breathtaking." They chose to tie the knot with picturesque Horsetooth Reservoir as the backdrop -- and the Colorado scenery didn't disappoint!
I love it when emotions take someone by surprise on their wedding day.
I love that Olivia wore nontraditional wedding attire.
Of course we had to dance (and snuggle!) on a mountaintop!
Sometimes when you elope you have to sign your marriage license on your new spouse's back.
These two were such troopers. They wanted to be married on March 6th, but there was so much high wind that we had to reschedule. Though, as you can see, the next day still had lots of wind in store for us.
I was glad that these two chose such a gorgeous spot for their elopement -- and I hope the beauty of the state inspires them to come back to visit more of it.
